ALPLA Works Alwin Lehner GmbH & Co KG (‘ALPLA’ for short) is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of rigid plastic packaging solutions. We produce innovative packaging systems, bottles, closures and injection-moulded parts of the highest quality for various industries.
The fifth ALPLA sustainability report offers insights into significant environmental, social and economic developments of ALPLA during the fiscal years of 2021 and 2022. Our primary emphasis was on incorporating the GRI Standards guideline in the most effective manner.
ALPLA – being a family-owned company – was built on the foundational principles of long-term thinking and conscious decision-making processes, sensitive to the needs of future generations. The company has had sustainability at its core from its very conception.
A key challenge in the coming years will be to retain qualified employees in the company. Besides the relevant ‘hygiene factors’, such as a salary in line with the market, the topic of leadership plays a decisive role in employee satisfaction.
Our employees are crucial to our success; they are ambassadors of the company, continuously shaping ALPLA’s public image. Our aim is to have enthusiastic and productive employees who apply their expertise and skills in the right positions.
At ALPLA we understand that our operations contribute to the overall carbon equation. Therefore, we regularly quantify the carbon footprint associated with our plastic packaging and recycling production.
ALPLA is committed to conducting business in a fair and ethical way, in compliance with all legislative requirements. As we are a multicultural company with a global focus, we need a shared understanding of what constitutes ethically irreproachable business practices
